The article comments in the critical way the exhibition of young new media artist Jana Bernartová (*1983). She studied at the Faculty of Art and Architecture in Liberec (Visual Communication - Digital Media Department headed Stanislav Zippe), the Faculty of Visual Arts in Brno (Intermedia Department headed by Václav Stratil) and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (postgraduate of Federico Díaz).
She presented her works within several solo and group exhibition. Her art is characterised by the new media orientation and the interest in the problems of visualising the fleeting and boundless imagination.
She frequently contributes by computer-supported generative art. In collaboration with the curator Veronika Zajačiková, Bernartová adopted her previous project Winter Landscape (2008) into a monumental computer-supported screening of an indefinite "life" of an area structure composed of cranked white canes, moving fitfully and slowly in space in evoking the formative metaphor of abstract cells.
