Abstract
This artucle deals with practical knowledge of students of primary and secondary schools. It is aimed at the competence of identifying common species of our vertebrates (fish, amphibians,reptiles, birds and mammals).
It uses metodology and species selected by Lang in 1971 and evaluates and comapres the outcomes in respect of selected species. Outcomes are presented in form of charts and tables.
