Results of application of differential geometry on ballistocardiographic signals is presented. Three measurements are discussed - blood pressure monitoring, pulse wave velocity monitoring and arrhythmias monitoring.
Patients were measured using piezoelectric foil sensors placed under the mattress of clinical bed. Data from sensors was compared with the data from ECG and blood pressure monitor to determine the possibility of unobtrusive measurements.
Few volunteers who suffer from atrial fibrillation were measured and the occurrence of arrhythmias was examined.
