Abstract

The paper deals with the question of which singular endings in Czech declension are most problematic for non-native learners of Czech and what is the role of their synonymy, homonymy, frequency and phonetic nature in the process of acquisition. The research is based on the data from the synchronic corpus or Czech (SYN2010) and the learners' corpus of Czech (CzeL:-SGT).
