Abstract
Fifteen studies about the first quarter of the century of existence of the cinematography focused on the issue of the acceptation of the new media in a society, especially in the environment of an elite society, a period practice of film shows, on forming the first generation of filmmakers in Czech countries and the shooting practice and also on specific personalities like for example Gustav Machatý or Karel Anton.
