Abstract

A correspondence between a film director Martin Frič and a writer and a journalist Jaroslav Žák in dramatic years 1938-1948. The correspondence is very rich in content and takes a side view at the situation in Protectorate of Czech and Moravia, a situation after liberation and shortly after February 1948.

A significant part also takes look at a nationalized cinematography where both author had been employed.
