Abstract

The study was aimed at the estimation of the reaction time of lower limbs using FiTRO Agility Check appartus, the secondary aim was to repeat the measurements after a one-year period and find out the relationship between the chronological age and speed of compex reaction. Investigation was performed in 103 boys aged 9 to 16 years.

The results of the study revealed that in boys aged 9 to 16 years let there is a significant relationship between the chronological age and a level of complex reaction speed. The annual change in the reaction speed was statistically significant (p<0,05) with an annual reduction of the reaction time in FiTRO Agility Check test corresponding to 87 ms on the average.
