Publication at Faculty of Arts |
2014

Abstract

The chapter addresses the evolution of the Crown of Bohemia in the "Hussite Century," the consolidation of the particular ruling system of the Estates of Bohemia, and gradual decline of the central role of Prague. Despite of all the changes and difficulties, the Crown of Bohemia never disintegrated.

The political power of the Estates in the Lands of the Crown increased, however.
