The preface to the collection of sermons of Patriarch Tomáš Butta brings a short summary of the theology of preaching. Preaching is a service to Word and the living word of the church.
The preaching is born from the life of the Church and the Word of God to the church and to the world happens in it. The preacher must place himself to the disposal of the Word and trust it in order to become a credible witness.
