Abstract
The paper follows the origin of the reflexivity (self-relation) in the oldest layer of the archaic Greek thinking and its relation to the Muses and the speech of the poets. Using concrete examples, it shows that the verse inspired by the Muses can serve as a medium of the reflexivity for the world as a whole (the hymn as a self-appearance of the world), but also for the singular divine powers, and then for the humans; in their case, the poetic speech turns also into a medium of immortality.
