Abstract
The article refers to interfaces of the religious question concerning the relationship between religion and magic pointing towards experiments to scientifically capture miraculous phenomena and forces. This 'scientific' approach of a man to the area of the former supernatural was called parapsychology.
This name, in particular due to ideological reasons in the Communist Czechoslovakia, changed into psychotronics at the end of the fifties.
