Abstract
Textbook designed for Archive Studies and History students and those Interested in learning to read old written texts stored in Czech archives and libraries. It brings some examples of system of writing with transcriptions and even with commentary on the language or translations in the case of foreign texts.
The book is mostly composed of works written in Czech lands from 9th to the beginning of the 20th century.
