The paper is dedicated to the Luck Egalitarianism, its genesis, the main principles, as well as to its external and internal criticism. The main problem of this theory represents the quest for the principle of compensation for the consequences of bad brute luck, in some cases of bad option luck.
I claim that the right way is not a return to the solidaristic community, but emphasizing the principle of equal citizenship. Therefore, it is necessary to compensate not only material damage but also moral one.
One of the possible ways is socially recognized and widely supported fair access to public services and offices, as well as granting of the public honours to those who are morally harmed.
