Abstract
The study is a part of an extensive monograph on the history of Pilsen up to 1788. It deals with the sacral buildings which came into existence before the foundation of the town in its vicinity, mainly in Old Plzenec, Doubravka in today's suburb of Pilsen, etc.
The attention is paid to the monumental buildings in the newly founded town from the very beginning up to the end of Late Gothic.
