Abstract
The chapter analyzes the correspondence as a historical source , describes the formal side letters , correspondence characterizes as a means of dialogue , as part of everyday life in the past , as a normal means of communication. It refers to specific cases in which correspondence can be seen as part of a literary work.
Also recalls the basic milestones in the development of postal traffic censorship and surveillance of correspondence. This chapter also selective , thematically divided bibliography.
