New Ukrainian immigrants distinguish themselves depending on the geographic characteristic of the region they inhabited in Ukraine, the country of their origin. Based on this, they paint their own picture on the one hand and formulate the reflection of other Ukrainian immigrants on the other.
A comparison of view attitudes of representatives of two different Ukrainian immigraguests identition communities, the Western Ukrainian and Eastern Ukrainian, has revealed surviving stereotypes acquired in the regional society before migration as well as cultural characteristics thanks to which the pictures of "the other" Ukrainians are painted. Despite the barriers, they become close to one another in the Czech Republic on the basis of some social activities.
