Abstract
Skin signs and symptoms can in some cases contribute to diagnosing an internal disease, sometimes the skin symptoms can even precede the internal symptoms of the disease. This article is dedicated to dermatoses associated with gastrointestinal diseases.
Skin symptoms of non-specific intestinal inflammations are described, along with skin symptoms of immunity-based diseases, tumours, paraneoplasias and genodermatoses. The article also deals with the issue of peristomal dermatoses.
