Man and his Role in History in a Conception of Historical Anthropology

Abstract

Each of historical approach has an idea about man and his role in history. At the beginning of 20th century there the history was seen as an independent action and man was seen as an observer of big events.

In 80th of 20th century the man was returned to the attention of the historians. Man is considered to be a creator of history mainly in historical anthropology.

This contribution would like to answer these questions: What is the role of man in history from the conception of historical anthropology? Is it possible to interpret history from the perspective of man? Does the perspective of man change our understanding of history?
