Association between polymorphism within the RYR2 receptor and development of statin-associated myalgia/myopathy in the Czech population

Abstract

The results of our pilot study suggest that the rs2819742 variant within the gene for the RYR2 receptor could be associated with statin-induced myalgia/myopathy in patients on low doses of common statins.
