Abstract
Retrospective exhibition presents historical development of the Institute in the context of progress of information technologies since 1950 until today. Twelve exhibiton boards are divided into three time periods, which represents the most significant personalities of the Library and Information Science area, the most frequent topics changing in time, the development of teaching as well as the student life.
The exhibition is accompanied by a timeline which shows the development of the Institute, together with the global progress of Information Science and information technologies.
