Abstract

Hyperhydratation which is frequent in patients with chronic kidney disease increases cardiac preload, contributes to hypertension, left ventricular hypertrophy and heart failure. Some biomarkers do suggest subclinical fluid overload which than can be confirmed by biompedance analysis.
