New options in deciding about targeted treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma

Abstract

Hepatocellular carcinoma is the sixth most malignant tumour globally and the third most common cause of death among malignancies. Roughly 3 of the cases of this disease occur in Asian countries, it does however have a growing incidence in Western European countries.

It more commonly affects men than women.
