Abstract
This paper tries to outline the research areas of the noble estate, which historians discussed. It is bounded by the years 1848 and 1948.
It aims to address the trends that research on aristocratic manor prevailed: the economic activities of former noblemen, prominent officials of the manor, the management of land resources, the process of land reform, etc.
