The rescue excavations in the outer bailey of the hillfort of Kolo near Týnec nad Labem, Kolín district

Abstract
The rescue excavations in the outer bailey of the Hillfort Kolo near Týnec nad Labem revealed dense settlement with strong connections to activities on the hillfort (9 ha) itself. Excavationsconfirmed activities from the Neolithic, Late Bronze Age, Hillfort Period and, above all, Late La Tène Period.
With use of systematic prospection with metald detectors, a huge amount of metal artefacts was obtained, which testify of short- and long-distance connections through the Middle Europe.
