Abstract

Verena Kast, Swiss psychoanalytic, shows us through case studies of her clients their dream images after death of their close relative. She tries to interpret relation between dreams of mourners and their relationship to deceased person.

She finds out, that dynamic process of mourning is stimulated mainly by unconsciousness. Author emphasises uncoverable role of burial service as important transitional ritual, which is essential in meaning of psychological health and for further self-experience of person.
