Abstrakt
Reduplication is one of the typical phenomenon in Indian languages. This also applies to Hindi language, in which reduplication occurs very often.
It has two constituents: 1. base word - the word which is reduplicated - reduplicand, 2. reduplicated opponent of the base word - reduplicant. In general we can say that reduplication is doubling of the same two words.
