Abstract
The paper is focused on the legal regulation of the insurance of the complete industrial plants in the international trade. The insurance of the complete industrial plants is regulated mainly in general conditions of the insurers and documents of the non-governmental international organisations (e.g.
FIDIC general terms of contract or The ICC Turnkey Contract for Major Projects 2007). Possible solution of the present state could be creation of the international standard based on the cooperation of the insurers and international organisations.
