The set of maps of the Colloredo-Mansfeld estate in Opočno deposited in the State Regional Archives in Zámrsk, is a unique cartographic source, which is not well known and has not been well researched. The article gives a description of the individual maps of this estate in northeastern Bohemia, including their production and content.
It also shows the possi-bility of their further use for the reconstruction of historical landscape in the early modern period.
