Abstract
This article concerns an album of Zdeněk Brtnický of Walsdstein (1582-1623), which contains 175 entries from 1591-1600 and represents a valuable source of information on Waldstein's proces of education and his social contacts. The essay describes the external form of the album, the languages in which the records are written and the content of the records.
It monitors distribution of the entries in time, informs about the proces of Waldstein's education and itinerary of his grand tour as well as personalities of the individual scriptors.
