A conference poster. A research has shown that the second most desired activity of pupils (after chemical experiments) within chemistry lessons is playing chemically oriented games, solving chemical quizzes, crosswords with chemical problems, etc.
As this tool of motivation (in comparison with chemical experiments) is safe and readily available, the research pays relatively much attention to its targeted use in teaching (not only in chemistry). The following gives information about our experience with use of a database two-subjects interdisciplinary motivation tasks designed to help teaching chemistry.
