Abstract
The chapter gives an overview of Czech environmental law and policy and its actual development. It deals with the most important conceptual tools of environmental policy like the State Policy of Environment, the Policy of Regional Development or State Raw Material Policy.
It describes the Czech environmental law, its system, constitutional basis and main acts. Especially it analyses the right to the favourable environment and its subject.
The chapter focuses also to the field of public participation in the environmental decision-making.
