Abstrakt
Study aims to determine the concept of a region and to shortly charachterize the development of the regional issue in the Czechoslovak historiography of economic history. As main characteristics of a region were formulated compacted territory, shareable fate, cultural connection of its members and above all regional notification.
The study shows that regional research is important part of the Czech economic history - in the sense of regional research centres as well as regional issues.
