Abstrakt
The article deals with the reception of the work by Alberto Moravia in the context of Czech and Slovak literature and culture of the 20th century. It gives a complete enumeration of translations of Moravia's works and glosses the editorial strategy and the response to each author's work in relation to extraliterary facts with emphasis on the ideological and political connections.
