Reading competence of socially disadvantaged pupils: reflection "reading clubs" project

Abstract

Article is focused on development of reading competence and motivation for reading in group of pupils from socially disadvantaged setting. Author presents finding from selected foreign researches a compares these findings with experiences from "reading clubs" organized in Czech schools.
