This contribution deals with psychopathological phenomena among leaders in totalitarianism. It examines psychopathological phenomena in detail in the case of two totalitarian leaders (Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler) and it's looking for the pattern of the same psychopathological features.
These features are then tested for the presence in the cases of three Asian totalitarian leaders (Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, Kim Jong-Il). The result of the analysis is the presence of paranoia in all surveyed leaders.
The conclusion of analysis is the discussion about malignancy/benignancy of paranoid tendencies and the discussion about the presence of paranoia in case of democratic leaders.
