Abstract

Review deals with monographs on Ján Kollár, where Róbert Kiss Szemán brings nearer Ján Kollár as a poet, a pastor, a teacher and an artist. The review focus on the chosen interpretive and confrontational approaches to Ján Kollárs texts that the author sees as the foundation of modern national mythology with a developed repertoire of emblems.
