There are three works of Czech travel writing arisen at the end of 15th century: Martin Křivoústý, Martin Kabátník and Jan Hasištejnský of Lobkovice described their experiences from the Holy Land. Their itineraries were, to a great extent, organised by the Franciscans settled in the Cenacle on Mount Sion, the official pilgrims' guides.
The lists of the visited holy places and indulgences embraced into the travel writing show how influential these practices were. In addition, the travel writing is also the manifestation of the subjective point of view and collective imagination.
