Gated communities as an Example of Residential Segregation in Prague

Abstract

In Prague, there is increasing number of gated communities, with concentration of wealthier population. The emergence of these objects is conditioned with neoliberalism, social demand and developers' activity.

Gated communities bring mainly negative consequences. It is important to pay attention to this process.
