Abstract

The monograph brings the conclusions of the longitudinal basic research of children's and pupil's preconceptions. It analyses research data of selected language phenomena, interprets them and thus forms a base for creating such educational constructs of the language phenomena that will respect the pupils' preconceptions and their communication experience.

On the basis of the research, it revises the contemporary grammatical approach. The suggested innovated teaching procedures based on research findings can give fundaments (restricted to the researched phenomena) to a new conception of L1 didactics.
