Abstract
The post get acquainted with the opinions of children (8 - 10 years) on the athletics in the athletic clubs of the selected region. Using questionnaire survey was detected the coincidence in the views of children (8 - 10 years; n=154) at the four files in the intentionally selected the region of Prague 6.
The main reason why children begin to pay the athletics, is the joy of movement, good atmosphere during the training, competition and fun. For the launch of the attendance to athletic training has the greatest influence a parent.
In the own training process has a great influence on the shaping of the relationship to the athletics for children (8 - 10 years) the actual coach, which in the case of the election of the right teaching practices with elements of competition and fun workout, may very well influence a positive attitude toward athletics.
