Dostoevsky in Leo Shestov's works (strangenesses and incorectnesses in Shestov's approach to Dostoevsky)

Abstract

The paper concerns the part of Leo Shestov's work dedicated to Dostoevsky. The main question discussed in the article is why Shestov's interpretation of Dostoevsky's writings is so inadequate to the facts we know about writer's life and works and yet it stays interesting.
