Mulberry (Morus L., Moraceae) is cultivated in China, Japan and Korea, and its leaves have been used for a long time to feed silkworms (Bombyx mori L.). Its leaves, twigs, roots (bark) and fruits are widely used in the traditional Chinese medicine.
