This chapter is a contribution to the collective monograph entitled "The image of the Greek Civil War in the international press." Based on archival material of the Czechoslovak Foreign Ministry discusses how the Czechoslovak newspapers presented the Greek Civil War during the period 1946-1949. At the same time considering the attitude of the main political forces in Czechoslovakia during the transitional period until February 48 and immediately after.
There is also a special mention about the activities of the propaganda mechanism the Greek Communist Party had established in Prague.
