Abstract
Suburbanization represents a transfer of population and its activities from the core metropolitan areas in their hinterland. Monitoring of residential suburbanization is one of basic needs of government of the Czech republic in policy of urban sprawl.
Methodology used in this map is embedded in its official strategy. The aim of the map is to define partial Prague metropolitan area according to zones of residential suburbanization.
