Abstract
The significance of language in general, selected theoretical approaches about language development, pre-language displays and its descriptions, on child-directed speech specifics, preconditions about the course of speech development, variations of children's utterances, preoperational period, symbolic period, specifics of maternal and paternal language, possible causes of differences between mother and father in speech with child.
