Abstract
The paper studies the human rights context of parliamentary immunity and provides a critical overview of recent Czech case-law in this area, esp. in the sphere of immunity for expressions. The problem of judicial review of parliamentary decisions concerning immunity of members of parliament is also discussed.
The relevant case-law of the European Court of Human Rights and its influence upon the changing judicial approach in the Czech Republic in this sphere is considered, too.
