Abstract
The study aims at completing the knowledge of the history of the village Rodov. It also tries to reconstruct, in greater detail, the genealogy of noble families Rodovský of Hustiřan and Ples Heřmanský of Sloupno, revealing some interesting cases from the life of the early modern time nobility.
