The executive remuneration is very interesting and topical issue within the frame of the corporate governance. The aim of this chapter was to present the current issues of the executive remuneration in limited liability companies.
Firstly, the chapter summarizes the key characteristics of remuneration policy in the Czech Republic and the South Korea. The core part of the chapter focuses on the new European Union proposal on say-on-pay rule.
It describes the subject-matter of this rule, looks on its formulation in the EU proposal and particular foreign regulations and polemize on the effects of this rule.
