Jesters and the Queen : Czechoslovak State Security Service and Věra Chytilová during the normalization period

Abstract

The study describes spying on the film director Věra Chytilová by the State Security Service in the years 1979-1983. It is a contribution about the relationship between the artists and the state power in the so-called "normalization" period.
