The article investigates the role of educational actors and the relationship between them in the educational process in Prof. Radim Palous' philosophical concept.

In education, actors-subjects (educator and educatee) interact. This interaction process opens chances not only for positive mutual relationship, reciprocal influencing, and cooperation to achieve the third corner of didactic triangle-learning content-but it also brings risk of totalization, manipulation and overcoming.

Thus affected subjects slowly lose their identity, get isolated and are not able to achieve greater openness reflected in the educational theory of pedagogy of communication represented by German philosopher Klaus Schaller. The solution asymmetrical intersubjectivity-brings Emmanuel Levinas in his book Totality and Infinity.

Prof. Palous develops Schaller's concept and also entirely resonates with Levinas' analyzes.

He specifies the term infinity and calls it an invisible instance, daimonion, conscience, or reaching from the horizon of all horizons-from the world.
